About The Position

This position will act as a resource for syndicated loans and review of new loan products. Will also be responsible for research, performing callback, reviewing and approving daily transactional entries, special projects, and escalated requests within Commercial Loan Servicing.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in commercial loan servicing or relevant commercial and real estate administration industry.
• Must be able to manage workflow effectively with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong loan administration experience with knowledge of letters of credit, borrowing based lending, multi-phased construction and multiple collateral properties
• Thorough knowledge of commercial finance, documentation, accounting and data systems
• Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage internal and external customer relationships
• PC literate, proficiency with MS Office

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline preferred. Will consider consummate experience.
• Bilingual (Mandarin or Cantonese) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Research and resolve most complex internal/external customer questions/discrepancies in loan accounting
• Act as resource and back-up for syndicated loan set-up, transactions and other questions
• Provide support for loan coding and other questions for bank and regulatory reporting
• Review Line Sheet and approve Trade Innovations transactions and wire requests pertaining to those requests
• Balance and approve daily IBS transaction balance sheets for staff
• Monitor Pass-thru accounts to ensure timely clearance
• Monitor designated exception items on tickler/tracking report to ensure timely processing
• Provide product expertise to all levels of bank personnel
• Research and resolve most complex internal/external customer questions/discrepancies in loan accounting, including rate and payment adjustments
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all levels of positions
• Other duties and projects, as assigned
