About The Position

The Loan Review Specialist I at Shore United Bank is responsible for reviewing noncomplex commercial loans and performing administrative duties within the loan review function. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Review noncomplex commercial loans and perform administrative duties as part of the loan review function.
  • Obtain sufficient data from internal and external sources to assist in the review completion.
  • Exercise good judgment regarding credit quality while reviewing and re-analyzing the financial condition of borrowers and guarantors.
  • Include compliance issues in the review of commercial credit.
  • Identify issues that may lead to losses and assess the accuracy of risk ratings.
  • Maintain accuracy of work papers and documentation to support accountability for results.
  • Involve lending support as needed in the resolution of identified errors.
  • Report results of credit relationship review to management and Commercial Relationship Managers.
  • Monitor credit and documentation exceptions.
  • Assist the Loan Review Manager with special projects and other duties.
  • Identify and respond to opportunities to communicate affiliate products and services.
  • Achieve goals assigned as part of the department's annual operating plan.
  • Abide by laws and organizational policies to promote a harassment-free workplace.
  • Cooperate with and support adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in required training sessions, including BSA/AML compliance training.
  • Coordinate specific work tasks with other personnel to ensure efficient information flow.
  • Communicate with management and staff to integrate goals and activities.
  • Respond to inquiries from bank personnel and customers within established policy and time frames.
  • Maintain appropriate records and provide assigned reports.
