Loan Review Analyst
About The Position
Provide quality customer service and work toward the generation, promotion and maintenance of a quality work environment for the staff of Amarillo National Bank Maintain a positive attitude and provide team support. Assist in all areas of Loan Review. Assures that commercial credits and concentrations are reviewed and analyzed with the appropriate risk grade Determines lending compliance with bank policy, national bank rules, and regulations. Reviews commercial documentation to assure proper preparation and legal validity. Prepares and collates data as necessary to provide management information. Provides appropriate customer assistance and solves complex problems. Assists in other projects as assigned by the Loan Review Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree minimum in Accounting or Finance. If Finance degree, a minimum of nine (9) hours of Accounting classes are required, or two (2) years of credit analysis, loan review or related accounting or finance experience to include familiarity with financial statement analysis and cash flow analysis.
- A working knowledge of banking regulations and laws, as well as a basic understanding of commercial lending is preferred, but not required.
- Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in the use of microcomputers including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is preferred.
- Must be organized, attentive to detail and professional in dealing with officers, customers and employees of the bank.
- Must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Additionally, must be flexible and able to adapt to changes in priorities and schedules.
Nice To Haves
- A working knowledge of banking regulations and laws, as well as a basic understanding of commercial lending is preferred
