About The Position
Farmers Bank of Kansas City is seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Loan Processor to join our growing team in Overland Park, KS. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $19 to $24, depending on experience. As a Loan Processor, you will play a crucial role in the mortgage loan process, working directly with individual applicants to review and ensure the completeness and accuracy of loan applications. This position requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be responsible for processing, managing, and acting as the primary contact for a pipeline of refinance and purchase loans. You will ensure that all loans originated by our loan officers are packaged accurately and in a timely manner. Effective communication with various parties involved in the loan process, including clients, third parties, vendors, loan officers, underwriters, and closers, is essential to provide an exceptional customer experience. You will maintain a progressing pipeline of Conventional, FHA, and VA loans, adapting to changing mortgage guidelines and setting appropriate borrower expectations throughout the mortgage process. Your responsibilities will include gathering and analyzing documentation required for underwriting approval, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining confidentiality of customer information.
