About The Position

To provide quality service and support to all departments and customers of Lea County State Bank, ensuring consumer and commercial loans are properly booked on the bank's core system, files are maintained in accordance with bank standards, and requests for loan maintenance are performed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Complete the post-closing processing of new and renewed loans.
  • Monitor Loan Vantage daily for new items in the booking queue.
  • Verifying all information is correct prior to booking in Core Onboarding.
  • Key loan renewals and modifications.
  • Complete system workflow checklists to process loan completed loans though queue.
  • Advance booked loans to quality control queue.
  • Verify all Trac Lease are keyed into the depreciation schedule.
  • Analyze and research information for customer inquiries as requested.
  • Monitor daily UCC, EFS, and insurance.
  • Scan and update any tickler information as needed for all collateral items such as UCC, Titles and Mortgages.
  • Process pay off quotes including applicable release fees when necessary.
  • QC scanning of all loans booked.
  • Verify that all scanned documents are properly categorized including account number, loan type and document type.
  • Ensure that all pages are scanned and easily readable.
  • Update collateral valuations and risk ratings as requested.
  • Perform daily quality control of the credit card settlements.
  • Prepare loan rate index sheet and post rate sheet to the bank's intranet portal each week.
  • Perform monthly vault certification.
  • Build loan/credit card files.
  • Perform daily scanning, filing and uploading scanned documents from Loan Ops scan to Synergy/Loan Vantage.
  • Assist department as required with other duties.
  • Cross-train in other areas of the department and serve as backup as needed.
  • Complete online training modules by assigned deadlines.
  • Ensure the Safety & Security of all team members, customers, the Bank, and personally; this is an essential responsibility of every team member.
  • Perform your duties in a manner that ensures your safety and the safety of other team members
  • Maintain situational awareness in your environment and alert your supervisor, manager, or another Bank Officer immediately of any a) unusual, suspicious, hazardous, harassing, or disrespectful activity in the Bank by other team members, customers, or others on Bank premises, OR b) situations or circumstances that could compromise team member, customer, or others safety, security, or privacy
  • Understand and comply with Bank security policy and procedures (see LCSB Security Manual, Safety Manual, Harassment Policy, Sexual Harassment Policy, Hazard Communications Program, & Acceptable Use Policy (for IT))
  • Complete all assigned monthly information security training within established timeframes and apply training concepts in the performance of your duties
  • Recognize and appropriately handle all suspicious, questionable, or compromising e-mails whether simulated or real
  • Understand and comply with other Bank Policies and Procedures relevant to Safety and Information Technology
