We are currently seeking a Loan Processor I to add to our amazing team! This role will work with and provide support for our Consumer Lending and Mortgage Lending Teams. This position will be responsible for processing Consumer loans or Real Estate loans and coordinating loan closings as needed.

Requirements

  • Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of one to three years of similar or related experience, preferably with a background in lending or financial institutions.
  • They’ll have attention to detail, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with computers, and the ability to learn new platforms, will be necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with both Consumer and Real Estate lending a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the monitoring and efficient completion of applications submitted to all ancillary Consumer Lending queues.
  • Acts as a conduit with our dealer partners as well as online channels to ensure all requests are claimed and communication is timely.
  • Uses positive communication to coordinate Consumer Loan closings and ensure documentation is received and uploaded from Mortgage Loan Officers and Real Estate loans are ready to be processed.
  • Prepares closing documents for Consumer personal loans and credit cards in an accurate and timely manner for Consumer Loan Officers and directly facilitates remote closings for members through the use of DocuSign.
  • Updates loan applications if a change is made at closing and offers guidance on Consumer Loan closings for internal and external members.
  • Books, funds, and disburses loan proceeds quickly and accurately for all Consumer and Real Estate loans.
  • Acts as a support for everyone involved in the loan process to help maintain a cohesive lending environment.

  • Attends regular development sessions as prescribed and ensures adoption and application of skills-based learning.
  • Uses Open Communication to create change, understanding that success comes directly from the individual contributing towards the larger goal.
