About The Position

Join Our Team as a Loan Processing Supervisor! 📍 Nashua, NH 💰 Pay: $65,000-$70,000 annually Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for lending operations and team development? Join our team as a Loan Processing Supervisor, where you’ll play a key role in driving efficiency, compliance, and exceptional member service across our consumer lending operations. This is a working supervisor role, meaning you’ll lead by example—actively processing and funding loans while guiding a high-performing team. What You’ll Do As the Loan Processing Supervisor, you will: Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team Supervise, coach, train, and support Loan Processing Team members Manage scheduling, performance reviews, and ongoing development Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations Oversee End-to-End Lending Operations Manage the full lifecycle of consumer loans—from application through funding and booking Ensure service level agreements (SLAs), quality standards, and timelines are consistently met Monitor workflow and optimize processes within the loan origination system (LOS) Stay Hands-On Process and fund a variety of loans daily, including: Auto and indirect loans HELOCs Credit cards Recreational and unsecured loans Drive Operational Excellence Maintain accurate and compliant loan files Oversee funding processes for accuracy and timeliness Manage loan documentation, quality control reviews, and reporting Ensure proper title processing and follow-up on missing titles Collaborate Across Teams Partner closely with Direct Sales, Centralized Lending, and Dealer Relations Maintain strong relationships with dealerships and internal stakeholders Resolve funding delays and proactively address operational challenges Ensure Compliance & Risk Management Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations (e.g., Reg Z, ECOA, HMDA, FCRA, BSA) Manage credit dispute responses and reporting standards Keep procedures and documentation up to date Support Business Growth Participate in community events and business development opportunities Promote the credit union and build strong member relationships What You Bring 2+ years of experience in: Loan processing, servicing, or underwriting Supervising or leading a team in a financial institution Strong knowledge of: Consumer and real estate lending Loan documentation and compliance requirements Proven ability to: Lead, coach, and motivate a team Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Problem-solve and improve processes Technical skills: Experience with Loan Origination Systems (LOS) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Associate degree in a related field (or equivalent experience Work Environment & Expectations Full-time position (40+ hours/week) Flexibility required, including occasional Saturdays Primarily sedentary work with light lifting (up to 20 lbs) Our Core Values At Bellwether, our culture is built on values we live every day: People First – We put others at the heart of all we do Local Focus – We strengthen our community Always Learning – We grow with every opportunity Driven with Purpose – We strive to achieve more Own Our Outcomes – We deliver on our commitments If you’re looking for a role where you can help people, grow your career, and be part of a community-focused organization, apply today!

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in: Loan processing, servicing, or underwriting
  • Supervising or leading a team in a financial institution
