The primary function of the Loan Processing Assistant is to assist the Senior Loan Processor with obtaining third party documentation for the loan file. Responsibilities include ordering appraisals, obtaining borrower credit card information, placing orders, following up with any order issues, and keeping the Loan Processor informed. The assistant will also order tax transcripts, ensure accuracy of the 4506T form, retrieve results, and upload them for review. Additional tasks include ordering condo documentation, verbal and written verifications of employment, updated hazard and flood insurance policies, and ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with AmeriHome policy and investor requirements. The role may also involve tracking payment details and receipts for management, as well as performing any additional duties assigned by management.
