About The Position

CMG Financial is hiring a Loan Processor Assistant to work in collaboration with the Loan Processor to perform necessary tasks to ensure accurate, compliant, and complete processing of loan files.

Requirements

• 3 years in mortgage or financial related field preferred.
• Experience with BYTE preferred.
• Successfully completes all required CMG processing training modules with the ability to meet key metrics after the completion of training.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced fluid environment.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality required.

Responsibilities

• Works with and supports Loan Processor to obtain and review required loan documentation and submits complete loan packages to Underwriting for approval.
• In collaboration with the Loan Processor, assists in managing the pipeline of loans and maintains timely and compliant flow of such loans through the process.
• Communicates with loan officers, buyers, sellers, title companies, builders and agents.
• Provides excellent customer service by effectively communicating and cooperating with all internal and external customers.
• Assists with the monitoring of closing dates ensuring that company deadlines are met.
• Works closely with the Loan Processor to obtain and verify that all underwriting conditions are received and cleared by the Underwriter and helps to prepare the file for submission to the Closing Department.
• Trains and develops knowledge of and keeps abreast of changes in policies and procedures, standards and regulations applicable to the company and the mortgage industry.
• Understands and applies local, state and federal regulations related to processing mortgage loans.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures.

• Competitive hourly/salary range which ranges from $20.00-$22.00.
