Requirements

  • Active NMLS license through CA-DFPI
  • Minimum 1 year of recent residential lending experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Client-focused and solutions-driven
  • Self-starter who actively builds business
  • Drive, consistency, and a strong desire for professional growth

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Originate residential mortgage loans through self-generated leads and referrals
  • Spend at least 50% of time outside the office building referral relationships and networking
  • Conduct pre-qualification interviews and guide borrowers through the application process
  • Evaluate financial information and recommend appropriate loan products
  • Submit loan files for processing and underwriting within company timelines
  • Lock in rates and programs when requested
  • Maintain compliance with investor, legal, and company policies
  • Cultivate professional relationships with realtors, builders, and referral partners
  • Stay current on all company lending products, policies, and regulations
