As a Deal Set Up and Funding Associate, your primary focus will be supporting the facilitation of syndicated loans of Fortune 500 companies through the deal closing process to help ensure they reach their financial goals. While utilizing effective communication skills, it is important that you focus on partnerships between the front office, legal, transaction coordinators and the account servicing teams to deliver a first-class client experience. Requirements

General understanding of Finance and Loan products
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office
Self-motivated with a team-oriented mindset
Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize
Ability to foster and maintain professional relationships
Exceptional communication skills

Responsibilities

Initiate collaboration across multiple teams to effectively interpret loan documentation for accurate processing of new deals and Amendments
Own coordination of closing related fees and principal payments
Maintain accountability for gathering all required documentation prior to deal closing while working with Transaction Coordinators and other partners
Actively manage and prioritize a pipeline of assigned transactions with various levels of complexities
Govern and reconcile exception reports related to recently closed transactions
Consistently provide accurate data while maintaining a low quality control error rate
Demonstrate ability to become a subject matter expert and work independently to complete transactions
