About The Position
United Trust Bank is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Loan Operations Specialist to join our Lending team. In this role, you will support the full loan lifecycle, ensuring accurate processing, documentation, and servicing of loan products while maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 2+ years of banking or loan operations experience
- Experience with commercial loan documentation
- Proficiency with LaserPro
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Solid problem-solving and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Fiserv systems preferred
Responsibilities
- Book new loans, renewals, modifications, lines of credit, and letters of credit
- Perform post-closing reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Process loan transactions, including payments and adjustments
- Manage participation loans (purchased and sold)
- Research and resolve loan discrepancies
- Respond to internal and external loan inquiries
- Balance loan general ledger and clearing accounts
- Handle recording and release of loan documents
- Track collateral exceptions and maintain loan files
- Process escrow disbursements
- Support internal and external audits
- Review daily reports and perform reconciliations
