About The Position

Dime Community Bank ('Dime') is currently hiring for a Loan Operations Specialist I based at its Headquarters in Hauppauge, Long Island. The Loan Operations Specialist I will service and maintain Dime's Loan Portfolio in accordance with bank policy and Federal and State guidelines. Salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $55,000 to $62,000 annually. The exact compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, education, training, licensure and certifications, and location. All applicants need to attach a recent resume. This is NOT a remote role.

Requirements

• College degree in business or equivalent business experience.
• Minimum two years' bank loan department and/or similar experience.
• Highly motivated and flexible.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality internal and external customer service support.
• Ensure and maintain loan data integrity on Dime's Core System.
• Provide accurate and timely processing of all loan transactions to include but not limited to loan payments advances and disbursements as well as general ledger entries.
• Administer tax and insurance escrows.
• Draft and maintain departmental procedures as assigned.
• Review and analyze system generated and ad hoc reports.
• Support the overall daily loan operational functions and projects as assigned.
