About The Position

The Loan Operations Servicing Specialist is responsible for boarding and life-of-loan servicing of all commercial and consumer loans, ensuring integrity of data input within bank systems is accurate and complete. Works with business partners across all markets to research and resolve client issues as well as acting as a resource relating to the loan system and client loan information.

Requirements

  • 1 - 3 years’ bank experience highly desirable.
  • Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Requires the ability to effectively research and solve problems independently.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail and be able to function in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills required.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to collaborate in an agile team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Upload or manually board new and renewed commercial and consumer loans to the loan system through interface with loan document system
  • Manually Board Attorney Prepared notes to Loan System and other complex notes that cannot be uploaded via interface.
  • Process payments, draw requests, and general maintenance to the loan system.
  • Act as loan operations contact across markets including commercial loan coordinators, credit analysts, commercial relationship managers, and retail bankers.
  • Monitor daily system reports for accuracy and exceptions and resolve issues.
  • Board leases to leasing system, process lease payments, and provide support to leasing relationship managers and leasing assistants.
  • Generate lease invoices and perform weekly and monthly general maintenance and monthly close-out to the lease system for financial reporting.
  • Review loan system quality reports on a monthly basis, making any changes to ensure correct coding and reporting on loan system, review reports with department management to discuss training needs or process changes.
  • Process payoff requests for Consumer Loans, ensuring information is correct and proper authorization received prior to releasing information. Support the processing of consumer paid loans.
  • Ongoing monitoring of Flood Insurance on all RE Secured loans designated in a flood Zone. Ensure Current and correct flood insurance is received and information is input into loan system. Execute Force Place insurance process on any lapsed or cancelled policy.
  • Other duties as assigned.
