The Loan Operations Officer is responsible for preparing consumer and commercial loan documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations and the Bank's internal loan policy. This role involves close collaboration with retail and commercial Lenders and other Loan Operations team members to gather all necessary information for loan documentation. Key tasks include preparing loan documents using LaserPro, completing and updating compliance checklists, reviewing attorney-prepared documents both pre- and post-closing, and coordinating loan closings with title companies. The officer will also identify and review HMDA reportable loans, manage LaserPro updates, and perform various additional operational duties. These duties encompass preparing reports for the Directors Loan Committee, Board, and Senior Management, as well as handling quarterly and annual CRA and HMDA submissions to the FFIEC program. The position also requires assisting with internal and external audits, researching credit report disputes, and contributing to the development or updating of operational procedures. Regular attendance at departmental and officer meetings is also an essential part of the role.
