About The Position
We are seeking a motivated Loan Officer to join our team at our Troy, MI location. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales, underwriting, and financial services, demonstrating the ability to effectively evaluate credit worthiness and process loan applications. This role requires a proactive approach to interviewing applicants to determine their financial eligibility and the feasibility of granting loans. The Loan Officer will be responsible for completing loan contracts and providing clients with guidance on policies and restrictions related to their loans. Additionally, the position involves performing thorough background checks to verify the information provided by loan applicants, ensuring the authenticity of their claims. The Loan Officer will also utilize their 10 key typing skills for accurate data entry and will be expected to negotiate terms and conditions with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
