About The Position
We’re seeking an Ag/Commercial Lending Officer to build strong client relationships and manage a high‑quality loan portfolio. This role combines credit expertise with business development in the agricultural and commercial markets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Agribusiness, or related field
- Strong underwriting and portfolio management skills
- Proven business development ability
- Typically 3+ years as an Ag or Commercial Loan Officer (entry‑level track available for qualified candidates)
- Financial reporting
- Credit analysis
- Relationship management
Responsibilities
- Interview prospective borrowers and assess credit requests
- Analyze financials and structure loan terms
- Prepare and present credit packages for approval
- Oversee documentation and monitor existing loans
- Manage problem credits and workout strategies
- Drive new business and maintain client relationships
- Mentor junior officers and engage in community activities
