What you will be doing: Solicit commercial clients; aggressively seek and obtain quality new business through client and prospect calls, referrals, and cross-selling efforts. Obtain and maintain Centers of Influence (COIs) and attend various networking events in the assigned geographic area. Utilize skills and experience in loan structuring and credit analysis. Generate a wide variety of commercial and real estate loans. Close loans typically in the $250,000 to $10 million range. Contribute to deposit growth by cross-selling and promoting additional banking products. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience you will need: Bachelor's degree in banking, finance, or other related field is preferred. Formally credit trained and/or underwriting knowledge and experience is preferred. Typically a minimum of 3 years direct lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships. Familiarity with the sales, loan processing, and closing processes. Extensive knowledge of Commercial Banking products and services including working knowledge of Mortgage, Commercial & Industrial (C&I), as well as Owner-Occupied and Investment Commercial Real Estate loans. Proven track record of business development.
