About The Position

As a Mortgage Loan Officer with E Mortgage Capital, you will assist clients in navigating their home financing needs within a hybrid model that combines retail and broker services. This role emphasizes building strong client relationships, providing tailored mortgage solutions, and ensuring a seamless loan application process. You will work closely with various stakeholders to help clients achieve their homeownership goals while benefiting from an uncapped commission structure and comprehensive support from the branch management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer or in a related position within the financial industry.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and referral partners.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in using mortgage origination software and tools.
  • NMLS License and State Licenses are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Real Estate License (DRE) (preferred but not required).
  • Experience with Fair Housing regulations (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their unique financial situations and goals.
  • Provide expert advice on mortgage options, interest rates, and loan terms to help clients make informed decisions.
  • Collect and review clients' financial information, credit history, and other relevant documentation to facilitate loan applications.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and processors to ensure timely and accurate submission of loan files.
  • Present a range of mortgage products and services that align with clients' needs, financial capabilities, and risk tolerance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions that could impact clients' loan options.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with real estate professionals, builders, and other potential referral sources to generate leads.
  • Ensure all loan applications and related paperwork adhere to regulatory and company guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process, addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally.
