Requirements

Nice To Haves

• College degree preferred.
• Three years of lending experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospects new customers and solicits new loans, cross-selling other banking services to both new and existing customers while maintaining ongoing customer contact.
• Manages a portfolio of account relationships, conducting account reviews, problem-solving, and following up on internal account errors. Interviews loan applicants to gather and evaluate financial data for credit worthiness.
• Reviews and approves or denies loan requests for new or existing customers up to a predetermined limit, preparing action memos for management review and presenting credits exceeding authority to the loan committee.
• Monitors loan repayment activities and takes necessary actions to collect past-due accounts.
• May participate in the preparation of department budgets, goals, objectives, and strategic planning.
• Represents the bank in civic and community organizations while following personal interests and attending customer and bank-sponsored events.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
