Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years in financial services, with 1+ year of direct lending experience.
• Small business lending experience is a big plus!
• Natural communicator, both written and verbal, with a knack for explaining complex financial terms in simple ways.
• Pro at interpreting financial data and making sound, data-driven decisions.
• Comfortable with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and standard office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business and loan relationships through proactive calling efforts and strategic referrals.
• Review loan requests, conduct in-depth credit analysis, and present recommendations for approval or denial in line with Northrim's policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure all loans remain in compliance with bank agreements, maintaining low delinquency levels and safeguarding the health of your portfolio.
• Monitor and manage loan performance, including resolving delinquencies and restructuring loans as necessary.
• Build strong customer relationships, assess their needs, and recommend the right financial products.
• Engage in ongoing training to stay ahead of industry trends and enhance your skills.
• Represent Northrim at community events, trade shows, and outside functions, helping strengthen our ties within the local business community.
• Facilitate and guide government-backed business loans through the entire process, from application to closing.
• Ensure all government guarantee loan requests are compliant with applicable regulations, monitoring changes to stay ahead of SOP updates.
