About The Position

The Loan Officer Associate at Lennar is an entry-level position designed to assist Loan Officers while gaining the necessary skills and knowledge to eventually become a Loan Officer. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BA or BS preferred
• Mortgage or banking experience preferred
• Experience in articulating product or service features, benefits, and value
• A genuine passion for customer satisfaction
• Exceptional organizational abilities and keen attention to detail
• Proficient in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Participate in formal training programs covering various aspects of lending.
• Train with manager on mortgage rate sheets to learn to accurately price and lock loans.
• Review daily/weekly/monthly reports to understand the mortgage process from application to closing.
• Update loan applications with missing data and maintain notes in the Loan Origination System.
• Participate in builder and realtor functions to develop and maintain relationships.
• Act as a primary contact between borrowers and Loan Officers, scheduling meetings as needed.
• Assist processors and closers in procuring loan documents from borrowers and other entities.
