Position Overview: The Loan Officer Assistant is responsible for taking incoming leads, managing the lead tracker, and following up to schedule client consultations with the Loan Officer. In preparing the loan pre-approval, the Loan Officer Assistant pulls and analyzes applicant credit information, and reviews income and asset documents. As a member of the sales team, the Loan Officer Assistant requests and obtains referrals from current and potential CCM clients and follows up with prospects consistent with established best practices.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service or inside sales experience – real estate or mortgage industries, a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • NMLS License Preferred but not required.
  • Experience working with Encompass, DU, and LP, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Take incoming leads for the branch.
  • Schedule initial consultations.
  • Meet branch objectives specific to pre-qualifications and pre-approvals.
  • Attend branch events to assist Loan Officer in building clientele.
  • Complete and maintain branch-assigned checklists, prospect follow up, file set-up, and analyses within allotted branch deadlines.
  • Request and obtain referrals from current clients and realtor partners.
  • Run automated underwriting (DU or LP).
  • Issue pre-approvals consistent with DU or LP findings.
  • Available to work overtime, if needed.
