About The Position

AnnieMac Home Mortgage is looking to hire a Full Time Closer to be responsible for the closing of all mortgage loans as assigned. Candidates should have experience directly or indirectly related to the Mortgage Industry. Under the direct supervision of the Closing Manager, the accountabilities and job activities of the Closer position include, but are not limited, to the following:

Requirements

Current experience in the mortgage industry.
High school Diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Review title, survey, and all other property certifications for exceptions and compliance.
Enter all required data into the computer system which is needed to obtain a complete accurate closing package.
Review and audit loan documentation and the LOS to ensure all underwriting conditions have been met and accuracy of all loan information.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, investor, and internal company policies and procedures with regards to closing and pre-closing. Calculate closing figures.
Print and send closing documents to the closing agent.
Perform verbal re-verification of employment for loans closing, as needed.
Ensure all Federal Income Tax Returns in the loan field have been re-verified through IRS and signed by the borrowers.
Complete all Company mandatory trainings within the required timelines.
