Dollar Bank is hiring for an Administrative Assistant in our Private Banking Department. The Private Banking Department provides the Bank’s products and services to high-net-worth individuals in a personalized, professional, and timely manner. The incumbent will perform various administrative duties to provide consistent, high-quality service to these individuals and will also contribute to departmental goals and objectives by assisting officers in managing customer relationships and achieving individual goals. In this role, you’ll work alongside seasoned professionals, gain valuable insights into private banking, and build a rewarding career while delivering personalized support to our valued clients.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • One (1) year of banking or administrative experience.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good typing and proofreading skills.
  • Good organizational /priority setting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a high paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written for professional correspondence.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, making you a trusted partner to both clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to apply job knowledge and good judgement to problem solving/decision making situations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with loan documentation and processing preferred.
  • Knowledge of the commercial loan system, Bank's products, services, policies, and procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist loan officers in the preparation of credit proposals by ordering appraisals, credit, property, flood reports, verifying deposit/account balances and other financial statement information.
  • Prepare loan documentation. Follow up for receipt of requested/required information.
  • Prepare commercial loan system input worksheets to establish new accounts and service existing accounts.
  • Create and maintain credit files, utilizing Nautilus.
  • Coordinate the opening and servicing of liability product accounts with branches and Private Banking transaction centers.
  • Perform servicing and maintenance of accounts/relationships.
  • Interact with other departments, particularly Credit, Loan Operations and Private Banking transaction centers to respond to customer inquiries and requests.
  • Compose routine correspondence.
  • Perform other duties assigned to support the Private Banking Operations team.
  • All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing, and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by Dollar Bank’s risk management program.
  • Compliance with regulatory laws and company procedures is a required component of all position descriptions.
