About The Position
Lima One Capital is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Analyst I for our fast paced mortgage operations team. As a key player in helping clients achieve their real estate goals, you'll manage loans from initial application through funding. You'll serve as the vital connection point, collaborating with loan officers, borrowers, internal teams, and third-party vendors to deliver an exceptional customer experience and efficient closing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimal mortgage processing experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Analytical problem-solving abilities with sound judgment
- Adaptable and flexible in changing work environments
- Effective prioritization and multitasking capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Processing loans throughout various stages of the mortgage loan process from onboarding through funding
- Interact with Loan Officers, Borrowers, and 3rd party vendors throughout the loan process to collect required documents
- Create exceptional customer experiences through clear communication of requirements and manage customer expectations
- Perform comprehensive quality control reviews of required documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Maintain pipeline with accurate data input, document uploads, and deal notes within our loan origination system
- Prepare complete file sets at various stages for underwriting to determine deal feasibility and closing
- Efficiently manage processing pipeline to ensure optimal workflow efficiency, maintain service quality standards, and adapt capacity to meet evolving company demands and growth objectives
- Demonstrate general knowledge of the mortgage process and our guidelines
- Support other projects and additional functions as assigned
- Facilitate any part of the loan closing processing, including but not limited to, providing translation services
