About The Position

Job Details: Starting Pay $19.85/hr plus a $2.00 shift premium Loadout Operator - This position is responsible for loading all finished outgoing product, inspecting trailers and tankers, collecting samples, testing samples and completing and keeping documents while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. When not engaged in loading tankers or trucks, applicant will be required to work in production area as assigned by supervisor. Machine Operator -This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Control Room Operator - This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring product throughout the processing phase. Individual will maintain communication with all production team members to coordinate equipment adjustments as needed. Responsible for the operation of computer PLC's. Requires documented previous floor experience in multiple areas of a rendering facility. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud . Shifts are 4 days/nights on and 3 days/nights off A Shift Sunday to Wednesday 6 am to 6 pm B Shift Sunday to Wednesday 6 pm to 6 am C Shift Thursday to Sunday 6 am to 6 pm D Shift: Thursday - Sunday 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Requirements

Must have 6 months of continuous work history with 1 employer within the last 1 year
Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
