About The Position

The Warehouse/ Yard associate is responsible for tasks that are related to pulling, staging, and loading orders for customers as well as maintaining finished goods inventory and installation supplies. These tasks include, but are not limited to, lifting, and carrying product, repackaging product, operating, and maintaining a forklift, meeting strict deadlines, loading, and organizing trucks, processing, and distributing paperwork, yard cleanliness & organization. Certified Forklift Operator (certification provided) Coordinate timely staging of all products to ensure delivery to job ready date Organize and prioritize daily activities Exhibits a professional manner with coworkers and customers Experience with forklift preventive maintenance programs a plus Hard-working individual that takes ownership of the full scope of their responsibilities Excellent time management, decision-making, human relations, presentation and organization skills Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with customers, management, and colleagues Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls Reaches with hands and arms to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Must regularly lift and/or move product in excess of 100 lbs Working in Yard during all-weather elements

Requirements

2 years+ forklift experience
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
Must be willing to work outside in the yard during all weather elements
Must be a self-starter who can work without direct supervision and can juggle multiple projects at once
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls
Reaches with hands and arms to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
