About The Position

Camelot is looking for a Loading Dock Attendant, who will be responsible for shipping, receiving, organizing, and distributing deliveries. This role ensures that all packages are properly handled and delivered as needed while maintaining a clean and efficient loading dock area.

Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Logistics: Coordinate with delivery drivers, vendors, and building management to schedule and manage loading dock activities, ensuring timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing goods, including logging deliveries, managing inventory levels, and reporting discrepancies.
• Health & Safety: Enforce safety regulations and guidelines within the loading dock area. Conduct regular safety inspections and report any hazards or maintenance needs to the Facilities
• Tenant Relations: Notify tenants of incoming deliveries and coordinate pick-up of packages as necessary, ensuring clear communication regarding delivery times and locations. Escalates tenant concerns to the Property Manager and/or Owner as appropriate.
• Stewardship: Proactively identify building deficiencies and take direct action to address them. Takes ownership of the resolution of tenant-requested building topics, channeling requests to stakeholders and sponsoring progress through execution.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate loading dock equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as necessary. Maintain proper training and certifications for equipment operation.
• Prioritize day-to-day tasks to efficiently manage expectations.
• Special projects as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
