About The Position

We are currently seeking a reliable and efficient Loader to join our logistics team. The Loader will be responsible for accurately and safely loading goods onto trucks for transportation. The ideal candidate should have a keen attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Must maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
• Previous experience as a loader or in a similar role is preferred.
• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, as required.
• Physical fitness and stamina to handle the manual aspects of the job, including lifting and moving heavy items.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in verifying shipments.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. and 20-30 lbs. for approximately 50% of shift.
• Ability to go up and down stairs if necessary.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently load goods onto and from trucks, ensuring proper placement and secure positioning of items.
• Check and verify the accuracy of shipment contents against provided documentation, ensuring that all items are accounted for and in good condition.
• Arrange items on the truck in a manner that ensures proper weight distribution and adherence to load limits.
• Conduct visual inspections of products to identify any damage or discrepancies and report findings to the supervisor.
• Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment, and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Coordinate and communicate with your supervisor to ensure a smooth and efficient loading process.
• Keep the loading area clean and organized, removing debris and ensuring a safe working environment.
