About The Position

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic arithmetic skills for counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
• One to four weeks of on-the-job training to build physical endurance.
• Capable of standing and walking for long periods.
• Ability to exert 100 lbs. of force frequently and 50 lbs. constantly.
• Mental and visual ability to count products and understand work schedules.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with HACCP and GMPs.
• Knowledge of LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load proper number of trays on trucks according to loading diagrams.
• Count product and perform basic calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Adhere to OSHA policies and company safety procedures.
• Submit documentation for safety hazards to a supervisor when identified.
• Monitor product surfaces and work area for any source of cross-contamination.
• Report any foreign material or food safety risk to a supervisor immediately.
