About The Position

The Loader/Unloader position at Union Compres Warehouse of West Memphis plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe handling of goods within the transportation and warehousing sector. This role involves the timely loading and unloading of materials, products, and equipment from trucks, containers, and storage areas to facilitate smooth warehouse operations. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects repeatedly throughout the workday.
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
• Previous experience in a loading/unloading or warehouse role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials, products, and equipment from trucks, trailers, and containers efficiently and safely.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
• Organize and stack goods in designated warehouse locations to optimize space and accessibility.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks in compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse team members to coordinate shipment schedules and maintain workflow continuity.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the loading/unloading areas to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with inventory counts and documentation to support accurate record-keeping and reporting.
