The team member is responsible for loading feed trucks as time allows and for accurately completing and recording operational and harvest-related data. This includes documenting crew information, actual catch start times, dead pickup status, schedule changes, feed remaining, mortality charts, DOA charts, team details, and time left the farm, while harvest data such as date, farm name, and catching plant is completed by the Dispatcher/Scale Operator. The team member will also record key details including date, check-in time, average weight, driver, truck, trailer, grower, head count, arrival time at the farm, and scale operator. In addition, the team member will print scale tickets for over-the-road trucks (such as chemical trucks) as they enter and exit the plant, ensuring information such as receiving scale, grower, catcher, head count, truck, trailer, driver status, weather conditions, and weights are properly recorded. Plant weights are calculated by subtracting the tare weight from the gross weight. The role also involves coordinating trailer movements and scale operations, including weighing empty and loaded trailers, zeroing scales prior to weighing, recording tare, gross, and net weights, managing shuttle truck movements between the farm, holding shed, and plant, and ensuring trailers are properly dropped off, picked up, and staged. The team member must ensure all scale transactions are completed accurately, trailers are accounted for, trucks are refueled as needed, and all required documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner. This position is must be able to perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor or member or management.
