Imerys is listed on Euronext Paris (France) with the ticker symbol NK.PA. The Position Loader Truck Operator Job Summary Comply with all Imerys, MSHA and Equipment Mfg. Policies, Safety Policies and Procedures. Set up and inspect equipment prior to operation. (Preshift) Check all fluids, fuel, engine oil, hydraulic oil etc., tires, steering, brakes etc. Also completes the Daily Work Place Exam. Loader Truck Operator is responsible for the removal of finished products from the bagging machines to the finished product storage areas; the staging of pallets and bags to the bagging machines to keep continued production; and the loading and unloading of trucks. Ensure all loads meet the customer requirements and are packaged and stabilized to arrive in good condition. Ensure the customer’s orders are responded to in a timely, efficient and professional manner. Obtain Shipping Work Ticket instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment handling; From the finished product storage area, load trucks according to the Shipment Inspection Report. Ensure the truck is loaded according to shipping instructions; record all lot numbers loaded on Shipment Inspection Form. Give a copy of Shipment Work Ticket to Truck Driver to take to shipping. Remove all damaged and rejected bags and place in Reject Area or dump truck. Keep trash hoppers dumped during shift. Maintain good housekeeping throughout the area. Replace broken bags and re-stack pallets. Comply with all Imerys, MSHA and Equipment Mfg. Safety Policies and Procedures. Receives Loading instructions on MSS on bulk loading shipments. Verify and write tank/truck and load numbers to ensure car placement accuracy based on written or verbal instructions for loading of the correct product. Operate loading equipment, hoists, and other specialized material handling equipment for loading or bulk or railcars. Check conditions and weights of vessels to ensure cleanliness and compliance with loading procedures. Monitor product movement to and from storage silos, coordinating activities with other workers to ensure constant product flow. Pull test samples for quality control purposes. Seal outlets and top valves on tank cars or railcars for proper containment of product. Proper use of PPE; hard hat, eyewear, steel toe shoes and 5-point safety harness to ensure personal safety. Any other job duties assigned by management.
