Evening Shift Loader Operator
About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Operate front-end loader to move and load sand and gravel materials efficiently. Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe and optimal performance. Monitor material quality and report any issues promptly. Follow all safety protocols and plant operating procedures. Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth production flow.
Requirements
- Ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a production environment.
- Strong awareness of safety standards and commitment to compliance.
- Capability to perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and work conditions.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
- Compliance with all company safety and operational policies.
- Ability to sit, stand, and operate heavy equipment for extended periods.
- Frequent walking, climbing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Manual dexterity to operate controls and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Visual and auditory ability to monitor equipment and surroundings safely.
