Loader Operator/Mechanic
About The Position
DuBrook is a leading provider of ready-mix concrete. We take pride in delivering high-quality products and services to our customers. Our physical plant, fleet of trucks and heavy equipment is essential to our operations, and we’re looking for a skilled Loader Operator /Mechanic to join our team and keep our property maintained and our equipment running smoothly. Overview: We are seeking an experienced Loader Operator/Mechanic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation, preferably with a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) . This role will also serve as a Mechanic and be responsible for operating a front end loader, performing general maintenance on diesel equipment, and keeping the aggregate bins stocked and yard maintained at the plant. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) – Strongly Preferred
- 3+ years of experience as an equipment operator, preferably in a construction or concrete industry setting
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex issues
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
Responsibilities
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and in good working order
- Operate front end loader to store aggregate and load into plant bins
- Perform maintenance activities to plant and around yard
- Follow company safety protocols and procedures
