About The Position

The position involves safely operating material handling equipment and moving and staging materials for loading based on shipment schedules. The role requires the operation of packaging tools, both machine and hand, and using RF devices for accurate material tracking. Following verbal and written instructions for loading, safety, and process compliance is essential. Additionally, the employee will assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse and forklift/side loader experience.
• High school education or GED desired.
• Good mathematical competencies.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Able to read a tape measure to the sixteenth. Experience with micrometers and calipers.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Reliable attendance, be on time for work, and dependable.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, and health & safety.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using computers.
• Experience with cutting and banding equipment is a plus.
• Previous experience operating material handling equipment including crane and forklift. Must pass evaluation before working independently.
