About The Position

As a Load Planner at BTI Solutions, you will be responsible for optimizing load planning daily using the Transportation Management System and Warehouse Management System. You will oversee the comprehensive planning and coordination of transportation services to maximize operational efficiency and productivity. Your role will involve applying independent judgment and discretion, utilizing network balance capacity tools to determine truck locations and available customer loads. You will tailor planning to meet regional needs, including load allocation, route optimization, and adjustments or cancellations. Additionally, you will develop a deep understanding of the assigned operational market and strategize load acceptance plans accordingly. You will leverage independent judgment and decision-support tools to ensure customer service requirements are met, manage the successful dispatch of planned loads, and maintain ownership of load execution within the assigned area. Collaboration with designated department teams to oversee and maintain customer trailer pools is essential, as well as working alongside other planning centers to coordinate network strategies and execute agreed-upon plans. You will make informed decisions regarding late pickups, deliveries, and any load changes, cancellations, or reassignments, ensuring timely communication with relevant personnel. Compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safety guidelines is crucial, as is maintaining professional, effective, and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders. Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that supports business operations and company objectives is also a key aspect of this role.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), WMS, TMS preferred.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Prior experience in load planning and supply chain operations preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required.
