JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for Load planning out of King facilities. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is self-motivated, has strong analytical and computer skills, and strong attention to detail. This person would need an understanding of trailer space, capacity, and weight for planning loads. Timely planning of loads to deliver on-time to meet customer expectations and goals.

Requirements

HS Diploma or equivalent
Strong organizational skills
Solid computer skills
Must possess strong sense of urgency
Ability to multitask
Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Responsibilities

This position coordinates all processes and functions of load planning and freight movement.
This person is specifically responsible for ensuring that the freight is delivered to the end client.
Plan routes and set appointments
Maximize load factor per loads.
Hit on-time deliveries and delivery windows.
Plan to maximize margins per load.
Other duties as assigned.
