POSITION IDENTIFICATION Position Title: Load Crew (Entry Level) Department: Shipping JOB OVERVIEW: We are seeking a dedicated and detailed-oriented individual to join our manufacturing company as a distribution handler. Responsible for helping with loading trailers into trucks for shipping. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to understand diagrams for how trailers will be stacked for shipment. Strong communication skills to communicate with forklift drivers as trailers are stacked. Follow orders, and complete tasks as assigned by supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned. Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards. Follow prescribed procedures and guidelines. Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities. Follow all company rules and policies. Follow all safety rules and quality standards. Uphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Must pass drug test
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to properly identify and compile information to effectively make decisions and set priorities
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to be at work on time

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques involved in the effective manufacture of goods a plus
• Ability to use and read a tape measure is a plus
