About The Position

The Load Coordinator is responsible for overseeing day-to-day, finished-feed movement for the location. The position’s responsibilities include personnel management, team building, analyzing overall load production and providing customer satisfaction, all while maintaining a high level of employee safety. These responsibilities must be achieved while delivering on customer service and casting the vision of Mercer Landmark’s mission goals and values.

Requirements

• Customer Service – Ability to manage difficult and emotional customer situations.
• Leadership – Inspires and motivates team members to perform effectively and at a high level. Accepts feedback and recognizes achievements from employees when appropriate.
• Technology- Ability to operate the functions of Microsoft Teams and Excel daily.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift 50# bags safely.
• CDL is required
• Possess a valid and insurable driver’s license.
• Ability to work extended hours when necessary.
• Safety first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee logistics operations at MPS Feed.
• Manage logistic efficiencies and production daily.
• Plan and organize daily workload for drivers on staff.
• Maintain and ensure up-to-date fuel, license, insurance, and registration records for each individual unit within the fleet.
• Evaluate and enforce biosecurity protocols in place to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
• Plan, organize and communicate monthly safety meetings.
• Identify with team strengths and utilize to improve overall department efficiency.
• Identify with team functions and assist to improve overall department efficiency.
• Responsible for outbound fed bio security.
