About The Position

As a member of our Warehouse team, you will help ensure that our customers receive correct orders in a timely manner so that their stores are always fully stocked with our great-tasting products. You will be responsible for palletizing designated product, building customer orders, and preparing them for safe and efficient delivery.

This position is highly active and requires constant standing, walking, pushing, and pulling. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, and spend the majority of time on the warehouse floor. As a result, they should expect a fast-paced production environment and will frequently lift and/or move items up to 60 pounds. (Moving equipment and tools will be provided to reduce strains and injury.)
The role is expected to be able to lift and carry 60 lbs. repetitively. Must be able to lift weight above shoulders and below waist.
The role will have occasional to frequent twisting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, sitting, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing will be required.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The role is considered a safety sensitive position.
Work hours: 1:00pm (Tues. – Thur.) and Noon (Mon. and Fri.) until loads are complete, Monday - Friday.
Additional or alternative days/times may be occasionally needed, depending on customer and/or promotional campaign.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED preferred
• 18 years of age required
• Must be able to read and write English proficiently to correctly build orders
• Ability to follow directions and take direction with a good attitude
• Team-player attitude
• Ability to perform essential functions of position with little or no supervision
• Regular, consistent attendance is an essential job function

Responsibilities

• Accurately pull defined quantities of inventory onto pallets and store orders in the staging area where they are prepared for shipment
• Build delivery loads of a variety of product onto pallets and prepare them for loading on bulk and bay trucks for delivery
• Use shrink-wrapping device after building each pallet to securely palletize product for safe delivery and to prevent spillage
• Operate electric pallet jack and/or forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, count, and load product
• Assist in loading and unloading of all route trucks
• Restock and pull-down product as directed by Warehouse Lead
• Sort shells, pallets, and damaged/out of date product
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
• Perform duties in an efficient manner that meets Company standards
