The successful candidate: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Can identify the various lines of linen products the company offers and their respective functions. Builds bulk carts by filling them with the individual linen product Reads the individual customer tickets and ensures the proper product and count are then loaded into the cart. Weight carts in /out and enter data into a computer program Uses a handheld electronic scanner. Works independently or as part of a team. Ability to multitask. Assist and perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Education, GED, and formal education/training preferred. Basic computer knowledge and the willingness to learn new computer applications. Good analytical skills to be able to determine the number of carts required for orders. 6 months to 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, or the service industry. Ability to work in a noisy fast fast-paced environment. Ability to climb, stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, and stack individual items for long periods. Ability to lift to 25 - 50 pounds during loading and unloading of the truck. Ability to push or pull a cart that may weigh 100 pounds and use simple tools. Ability to count items and verify against prepared lists. Demonstrated customer service and organization skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of safety procedures. Education: High School or GED 1 to 2 years of experience in the health care, manufacturing, or similarly situated industries.
