Responsibilities

• Physically handle materials used to construct components and finished products to ensure optimized movement.
• Lift, carry, and stack items as needed.
• Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment, some requiring specialized training.
• Respond to training from foreman or senior handlers to increase knowledge of work processes.
• Understand and observe all safety procedures to prevent injury to self or co-workers.
• Attend periodic safety meetings and recommend changes to improve safety procedures.
