About The Position

Maximus Building Supply is seeking a Full-time Load Builder/Forklift Operator for its Olive Branch, MS Lumberyard. The role involves building loads of lumber and supplies for delivery to home construction sites, assisting customers, and maintaining an organized yard. This position is ideal for individuals with forklift operation experience and a background in lumberyards or heavy equipment.

Requirements

• US work authorization.
• High School Grad or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 18.
• 6 months relevant experience preferred.
• Forklift experience.
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
• Attention to detail for safety and customer satisfaction.
• Willingness to take direction and work in a team environment.
• Reliable transportation.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens after hire.

Responsibilities

• Build/stage loads of lumber and supplies according to ticket.
• Place load on truck according to size and weight.
• Unload trucks from suppliers.
• Assist Will Call customers.
• Keep yard organized and neat.
• Observe safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
