About The Position

The Operations Manager at Archer Music Hall, part of Live Nation Entertainment, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility operations and maintenance. This includes managing front of house operations, preventive maintenance, staffing, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage multiple departments and ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for guests and employees.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years' experience as House/Operations Manager or in a comparable role.
  • Extensive knowledge of venue operations and facility management.
  • Experience managing multiple departments with a large number of staff, ideally including Security and Ushers.
  • Strong management and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience using Workday or timekeeping systems is a plus.

  • Experience dealing with police and public officials.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of facility operations and maintenance, including front of house operations and preventive maintenance.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise part-time staff across multiple departments such as Security, Maintenance, and Cleaning.
  • Develop and oversee budgets for repairs, maintenance, and venue supplies.
  • Assist the General Manager in preparing the annual operations budget.
  • Maintain records of incident reports and manage investigations as necessary.
  • Ensure optimum operating conditions for all facility equipment.
  • Investigate and resolve guest-related complaints.
  • Implement and execute Live Nation policies and procedures, ensuring company standards are maintained.
  • Create and implement effective recruiting programs for seasonal event staff.
  • Manage onboarding and training programs for event staff.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with municipal departments such as police and fire.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors and third-party vendors for events.
  • Approve payroll for in-house departments and ensure compliance with governmental reports.
