Part Time LMSW Therapist (8-12 hours per week)
About The Position
We are currently recruiting new part time Bilingual English/Spanish LMSW clinicians to join our Bronx-Based Behavioral Health Department. This role serves as a part time therapist, providing individual therapy to children, adults, and families. Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work required.
- NYS Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Bilingual English and Spanish required.
- Proficiency with evidence-based modalities.
- 2 years of previous experience in a mental health clinic, hospital, behavioral health, or similar setting required.
Responsibilities
- Completes documentation in accordance with OMH regulations.
- Monitors treatment plans for patients.
- Provides bio-psychosocial assessments and clinical diagnostic assessments.
- Conducts individual psychotherapy
- Maintains skills and knowledge in clinical theory and practice to help patients overcome dependencies, adjust to life, and make changes.
- Provides counseling to family members to assist with understanding and supporting patients.
- Engages in crisis intervention when necessary and refers patients or family to community resources.
- Provides consultation to medical providers.
- Collaborates with physicians to develop and implement treatment and intervention programs.
- Participates in clinical team meetings.
