About The Position

We are currently recruiting new part time Bilingual English/Spanish LMSW clinicians to join our Bronx-Based Behavioral Health Department. This role serves as a part time therapist, providing individual therapy to children, adults, and families. Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work required.
  • NYS Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
  • Bilingual English and Spanish required.
  • Proficiency with evidence-based modalities.
  • 2 years of previous experience in a mental health clinic, hospital, behavioral health, or similar setting required.

Responsibilities

  • Completes documentation in accordance with OMH regulations.
  • Monitors treatment plans for patients.
  • Provides bio-psychosocial assessments and clinical diagnostic assessments.
  • Conducts individual psychotherapy
  • Maintains skills and knowledge in clinical theory and practice to help patients overcome dependencies, adjust to life, and make changes.
  • Provides counseling to family members to assist with understanding and supporting patients.
  • Engages in crisis intervention when necessary and refers patients or family to community resources.
  • Provides consultation to medical providers.
  • Collaborates with physicians to develop and implement treatment and intervention programs.
  • Participates in clinical team meetings.
