LMSW/LMHC - Mobile Crisis Counselors with 3-day work week
About The Position
Crisis Services is now hiring Social Workers and Mental Health Counselors interested in working three (3) 10-hour days/week with full-time benefits as part of our team of Community Outreach crisis intervention professionals. This is an exciting opportunity that provides a competitive hourly rate while helping to protect time outside of work for people fulfilling this critical role. About this opportunity: Mobile Crisis Counselors are part of our Emergency Mental Health Response Services team. These Master’s-level Social Workers and Mental Health Counselors are responsible for providing on-site crisis intervention and assessments to individuals in crisis or emergency mental health situations in the community. Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling, and Licensure/permit or permit-eligibility in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
- One (1) year of supervised experience (pre- or post-graduate) providing services to individuals in a mental health or human service setting.
- A valid NYS driver’s license and access to a usable vehicle.
