About The Position

The Technical Leader leads projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business and is a recognized expert in a specialized field. In this role you will be responsible for major and complex assignments with long-term business implications, manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • 8+ years of mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering experience
  • Eligibility Requirements This role is onsite in Houston,TX with a hybrid schedule.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with LMS100 package design strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of GEV Aero system designs
  • Strong mechanical design and analytical background
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes
  • Ability to drive projects to completion
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership for a team of engineers for all product design aspects of the LMS100
  • Ensure that safety is embedded in every aspect of our product
  • Strong focus on maintaining and improving quality
  • Assure all component designs meet requirements
  • Support and coordinate with interfacing organizations such as manufacturing, sourcing, services, global engineering, and systems engineering
  • Support service programs, fulfillment, and New Product Introduction (NPI)
  • Provide strong guidance and contribution to Product Cost Out (PCO) and design to cost projects
  • Communicate progress to all levels of the organization
  • Mentor and develop less experienced personnel

  • For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $113,200.00 and $188,800.00.
  • The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
  • Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
