The Teaching and Learning Center supports the college's commitment to providing our diverse community with the opportunity to gain a quality higher education by providing interactive professional development opportunities for all faculty and staff. The TLC encourages innovation and supports faculty in the use of research-based pedagogical best practices for the learner-focused classroom. The LMS Coordinator reports directly to the Dean of Faculty and Curricular Development and is critical in the work of the Teaching Learning Center by being the lead administrator in the knowledge and implementation of the LMS work necessary to ensure that CCD's LMS is stable, useful, and active. The LMS Coordinator works closely with faculty to provide instruction on the use of the LMS, including the design, dissemination, and improvement of LMS specific functionality instruction for faculty, staff, and students. This position also provides support and guidance on the use of third-party tools integrated into the LMS. The LMS Coordinator supports students and faculty by responding to help requests and by managing LMS helpdesk tickets. Occasional evening and weekend support may be required. Hybrid work may be available.
